Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled Data Modeling Specialist to join our growing data team.
  • This role involves building clean, reliable, and extensible data models that drive business insights and decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with our Business Intelligence Engineer to ensure they have well-structured datasets ready for analysis, monitor data quality across key systems, write ad hoc queries in BigQuery, and help extract data from external APIs using Python.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Take full ownership of the transformation layer (dbt) and ensure it provides accurate, well-tested, and performant datasets for analytics and reporting. Dimensional modeling.
  • Build curated data marts or semantic layers that allow business users or analysts to self-serve reporting needs without requiring custom SQL queries.
  • Proactively monitor data pipelines and anomalies using tools like Monte Carlo, and take ownership of triaging data quality issues before they impact stakeholders.
