Financial Data Management Specialist Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of vendor and customer records across global systems. This role supports the finance master data governance group by providing expertise in master data management for all sites globally.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Act as finance approver for creation and maintenance of third-party vendor and customer master data in SAP S/4HANA and MDG systems.
  • Review and validate third-party data requests for completeness and compliance with global data standards.
  • Process and validate new supplier records onboarded through Ariba SLP, ensuring correct legal, tax, and banking information.
  • Conduct verification calls with suppliers to confirm bank account changes, ensuring anti-fraud protocols and audit compliance.
  • Partner with accounts payable team to resolve invoice exceptions caused by master data issues.
  • Coordinate closely with procurement, finance, and IT teams to resolve data quality issues or escalations.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries related to vendor and customer master data, ensuring timely resolution via email or ServiceNow tickets.
  • Ensure master data changes are processed accurately and within SLA timelines.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements related to master data controls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in Mandarin (written and verbal) and English.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years experience in master data management, finance operations, or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP MDG is required.
  • Experience with Ariba SLP and supplier onboarding processes is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a multicultural environment.
