About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a high-performing team in the hedge fund industry, delivering exceptional service to clients.

Responsibilities include providing accurate and timely accounting data, ensuring client deliverables are of high quality, and striving for continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for reviewing NAV closings, ensuring overall client satisfaction, and responding promptly to client queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare historical fund data, general ledger entries, and analyze client accounts
  • Reconcile cash accounts to statements, identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile positions/securities to broker statements, research and resolve any differences between accounting and broker reports
  • Price portfolios in accordance with firm and fund pricing policies, ensure consistency of all reports included in NAV packs, and resolve discrepancies
  • Prepare accounting entries, book to ledger, perform month-end close processes, and prepare financial statements, ensuring completion of control checks per SOC checklist
Requirements
  • Educational background in Finance or Accounting
  • 1-3 years of work experience; proper accounting experience and exposure to alternative investment industry
