Commercial Lines Insurance Professional

We are seeking an accomplished Commercial Lines Insurance Specialist to enhance our team. As a key contributor to the Commercial Lines Department, you will be responsible for educating current clients and attracting new ones.

  • Provide insurance proposals for agency producers
  • Quote policies with top-rated carriers in the industry
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and markets
  • Foster client retention and sales growth by cross-selling and expanding existing accounts
  • Service existing clients through various channels by preparing renewals, remarketing accounts, processing claims, and making policy changes
  • Quote and issue new policies
  • Manage Certificates of Insurance (COI), Evidence of Property Insurance (EOP), and Homeowners Insurance documentation
  • Utilize experience with remarketing logs and tracking renewals
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance (preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance policies, coverages, and products
  • Familiarity with the operations of an Independent Insurance Agency
  • Knowledge of quoting policies with major carriers
  • Excellent spoken and written English skills (articulate and friendly)
  • Ability to professionally manage and respond to phone calls and emails
  • Strong listening skills and ability to handle objections or concerns effectively
  • Ability to recognize opportunities for cross-selling or upselling policies
  • Persuasive communication skills to offer additional products where appropriate
  • Ability to accurately process multiple tasks under deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure quality and compliance
  • Ability to work independently while ensuring alignment with company SLAs
