Insurance Job Description

This is a position that requires strong organizational and time-management skills, with a keen attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing, as well as a thorough understanding of insurance policies and procedures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Policy Processing: Process new insurance policy applications, ensuring all required information and documentation are complete and accurate.
  • Policy Endorsements, Renewals, Cancellations: Handle endorsements, renewals, and cancellations promptly.
  • Compliance: Review policy applications for compliance with regulatory requirements.
Data Entry and Verification
  • Enter policy information into the insurance management system accurately and efficiently.
  • Verify data for accuracy and completeness, making corrections as needed.
  • Update and maintain client and policy information in the database.
Candidate Requirements
  • Previous experience in commercial property and casualty insurance processing is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with insurance software such as Applied Epic, AMS 360, EZ Lynx and CRM systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
