Financial Services Professional - Mergers and Acquisitions

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Financial Services Specialist. This individual will play a key role in supporting deal execution across mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and other financial services.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market research including competitor analysis, industry research, and using raw datasets to create insights into niche subject areas.
  2. Lead financial modeling and valuation analyses, by taking raw financial data from clients and creating transaction structuring, working capital pegs, and LBO models.
  3. Develop client-facing materials for mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions, including strategic presentations and confidential information memorandums.
  4. Work closely with senior team members and clients to execute transactions and assess strategic alternatives.
  5. Manage execution processes, ensuring seamless transaction workflows and high-quality deliverables.
  6. Actively contribute to recruiting and firm-building initiatives.
Requirements
  1. 1–2 years of experience in financial services or comparable fields (top-tier consulting or sell-side equity research with relevant transaction exposure will be considered).
  2. Strong academic credentials preferred, though not required.
  3. Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial modeling, including LBO, 3-statement modeling, and detailed business plan forecasting.
  4. Ability to adapt, use new tools, and find creative solutions to aid efficiency.
  5. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with senior professionals, clients, and key stakeholders.
  6. A highly driven individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with a high degree of independence.
  7. You will be directly working with the client, communicating with the client, providing services, and addressing client-related matters independently.
