The Senior Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for providing technical delivery leadership on client engagements, leading architectural design sessions with clients, providing regular coaching and guidance to peers, managing client expectations, and cultivating a collaborative and inclusive team culture.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Technical oversight and guidance for younger career team members
  • Serving as coach in a player-coach model to help upskill team members and build their confidence in infrastructure delivery
  • Fostering relationships between cloud infrastructure teams and outside of the practice

Additional Responsibilities Include:
  • Strong consultative skills on multiple client engagements
  • Partnering with Delivery Excellence to ensure project milestones align with a project plan
  • A strong understanding of cloud infrastructure solutions and the delivery/execution of how they are implemented using IaC (Bicep or Terraform)
  • Assisting with breaking through project blockers to help the delivery team reach billable targets
  • Facilitating change orders and project extensions when necessary
  • Driving alignment where there are technical mesh points between other 3Cloud practice areas
  • Keeping apprised of the latest technologies and their impact on existing 3Cloud offerings
