Senior Developer Position

We are a fast-growing internet service provider based in Melbourne, Australia, dedicated to delivering lightning-fast, reliable internet with exceptional customer experience.

The role involves working directly with the Development Team Leader and Project Manager to maintain and expand our internal and customer-facing systems.

  • Maintain and enhance existing systems with new functionality.
  • Investigate and resolve reported issues.

This position requires strong communication skills, database design experience, and proficiency in Laravel and PHP. You will work collaboratively with the Development team and internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Requirements:

  • Strong English language skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in an appropriate field or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Experience working in remote-based teams.
  • Extensive experience in database design, implementation, and management.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the Development team to maintain and enhance existing systems.
  2. Guide maintenance and design of legacy and database systems.
  3. Develop test cases and testing of code developed by yourself and others.
  4. Provide support to the wider development team.
  5. Maintain documentation for internal systems and APIs.
  6. Adhere to security best practices.
