Lead Network Strategist

We're seeking an expert in next-gen network infrastructure to design and deploy our BNG, edge, and access platforms.

This individual will join at a critical inflection point where legacy systems are being replaced with high-performance, open-source-driven stacks.

  • Design and implement BGP edge routers with advanced security features.
  • Stand up IPoE BNG systems with QoS enforcement and IPv6-first routing.
  • Integrate OLTs via ACS and TR-069 for efficient management.
  • Implement a comprehensive observability stack: Prometheus, Grafana, sFlow/NetFlow, Alertmanager.
  • Develop and test edge ACLs, scrubbing integration, and anomaly detection alerts.
  • Mentor junior engineers and create runbooks for remote hands.
Key Qualifications
  1. 5+ years of experience in ISP-grade routing/switching with expertise in FRR, VyOS, or OcNOS.
  2. Deep understanding of BGP/OSPF, PPPoE/IPoE, uRPF, QoS, NAT, and AAA.
  3. Working knowledge of Proxmox, Linux, containerized monitoring (Docker/Prometheus stack).
  4. Familiarity with optical fiber networks, OLT/ONU provisioning, VLAN planning.
  5. Able to work effectively in a rural setting.

Bonus Points: Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes would be a significant asset.
