Chief Test Assurance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Software Tester.

Responsibilities:
- Test end-products and identify quality concerns via requirements review and product inspection.
- Design appropriate tests needed to ensure the quality of the product under test.
- Document defects and failure rates, perform root cause analysis, and communicate quality metrics in test reports.
Requirements:
- Have 3+ years of experience in manual testing (functional, non-functional, regression).
- Design test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
- Participate in requirement, design, and specification reviews, and use this information to design test plans and test conditions.
- Apply agreed standards to specify and perform manual and automated testing.
- Analyse and report on test activities, results, issues, and risks.
Must-Have Knowledge:
- Web-based applications.
- An understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Thorough understanding of software development life cycles.
Nice To Have:
- Experience in writing SQLs using SQL Server 2019.
- Experience in working in a financial services/lending business.
- Basic knowledge in automation.
