About the Position

The Senior Health Monitoring and Evaluation Director will lead and oversee a team providing monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning services to the Office of Health under the USAID/Philippines, Pacific Islands, and Mongolia Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Activity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for leading and coordinating all health component monitoring, evaluation, and research activities.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for evaluation and monitoring with the USAID Office of Health.
  • Design and implement performance evaluations and CLA activities under this component.
  • Maintain acceptable standards of quality for all assigned tasks and expected deliverables.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Chief of Party.
Qualifications
  • A Master's degree or higher in management, public health, international development, or a related field.
  • At least ten years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex monitoring systems and performance evaluations in developing countries.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a supervisory and/or management capacity, including technical oversight of subcontractors and teams.
  • Demonstrated experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection, management, and analysis.
  • Strong background in project management and monitoring and evaluation.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • Local professionals are encouraged to apply.
