Job Overview

This role is responsible for leading the payments team and ensuring smooth and efficient payment processing operations.


The Payments Team Lead collaborates with other departments to resolve issues and achieve common goals, and leads the team in identifying and implementing process improvements in the payments process.


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Key Responsibilities Include:
    • Managing day-to-day cash inflows and outflows to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
    • Ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, salaries, and other obligations.
    • Troubleshooting payment processing issues and resolving them promptly.


  • Measures of Success: In 3 to 6 months you should have:
    • Delivering high quality payment services.
    • Achieve accuracy in Payment and accrual process.
    • Establish an excellent working relationship with vendors and buying team to facilitate coordination and smooth flow of work process.



Role Description

The Payments Team Lead plays a critical role in ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently and accurately. This includes managing cash balances, maintaining relationships with banks and financial institutions, and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and reporting requirements.


What You Will Achieve

You will lead the payments team and be responsible for performing the following responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve payment processes.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and financial institutions.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, salaries, and other obligations.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with payment processing.
  • Staying up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and reporting requirements.
