Job Overview

The In-Field Mentor role provides guidance and training to newly assigned missionaries in the field. This position plays a vital role in supporting these individuals as they transition into their new roles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with missionaries remotely to offer instruction, counsel, and feedback on their performance.
  • Develop and implement training sessions based on an approved curriculum.
  • Direct missionaries in planning and accounting for their learning goals.
  • Maintain open communication channels with senior managers to ensure direction and training are implemented effectively.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a returned missionary or currently teaching at a Missionary Training Center (MTC).
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, facilitate, and train others effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working as a mentor or trainer would be beneficial.
  • Teaching experience at an MTC or tutoring would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with online platforms and tools would enhance the candidate's suitability for this role.
