The Role of a Business Storyteller

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Storyteller to join our team. As a Business Storyteller, you will be responsible for researching, covering, and writing business stories that capture the essence of the company's mission and values.

You will work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to develop content that showcases the company's expertise and thought leadership in the industry.

The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to distill complex information into engaging and accessible content.


Responsibilities
  • Researching and writing business stories on a variety of topics, including company news, industry trends, and thought leadership pieces
  • Developing and implementing a content strategy that aligns with the company's marketing goals and objectives
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to ensure a cohesive brand voice and message
  • Managing and maintaining the company's social media presence, including creating and scheduling posts, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and developments, and incorporating this knowledge into content creation and strategy

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or a related field
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of producing high-quality content and achieving results-driven outcomes
  • Excellent writing and research skills, with the ability to distill complex information into engaging and accessible content
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and platforms
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality
