Project Cost Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented professional to analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates for construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have experience with estimating software and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Review architectural and engineering drawings, project plans, and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor work.
  • Analyze historical data and pricing trends to improve the accuracy of estimates.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Develop and maintain a database of unit costs, productivity rates, and supplier pricing.
  • Participate in bid reviews and risk analysis discussions to ensure accurate and competitive estimates.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Project Cost Analyst (3+ years preferred).
  • Experience with estimating in various construction types (residential, commercial, civil, industrial).
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
