Pet Circle's Data & Analytics team is seeking a seasoned Information Engineer to lead our data governance program.

This key role is responsible for ensuring the availability, quality, consistency, and security of our data assets. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data and analytics to drive strategic decision-making and optimize operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and implementing data feeds, transforms, and models
  • Ensuring high availability and reliability of data assets
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve business goals

Requirements include:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in data engineering or information engineering
  • Extensive expertise in SQL and Python programming languages
  • Experience with BI tools, such as Looker or Tableau
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data warehouses, such as BigQuery or Snowflake
