Data Configuration Specialist Role

This is a key role for our company, requiring a high level of technical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

The Data Configuration Specialist will be responsible for facilitating the development and ongoing maintenance of our data extraction, transformation, and loading platform. This involves mapping source and destination files, creating and managing configuration files, and providing first-level troubleshooting for data-related issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Map all source to destination files to ensure precise data transformation and loading.
  • Create, update, and manage configuration files essential for the ETL platform.
  • Regularly adjust platform configurations to accommodate new data sources.
  • Perform preliminary analysis and troubleshooting for potential data issues, escalating only those that require engineering intervention.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all configurations and mappings for auditing and future reference.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Data Analysis Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in data analysis is required.
  • Agile Process Knowledge: At least 1 year of experience in agile process knowledge is required.
  • IDX Process Knowledge: IDX process knowledge is preferred but not required.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills are required for collaboration with the engineering team.
  • Technical Aptitude: A high level of technical aptitude is required for this role.
