Job Description

The IKB Writer is responsible for the governance of a knowledge base, overseeing its health and best practices. This includes encouraging correct usage, creating guidelines for information capture and management, and ensuring content remains up-to-date.

Responsibilities
  • Develop a strategic approach to managing the IKB, maintaining high-quality and searchable content for diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, trainers, and subject matter experts to develop and support new products, processes, and services.
  • Evaluate business impact through analytics, tracking usage and defining efficiency of IKB content.
  • Establish writing guidelines based on KB best practices.
  • Implement agent suggestions and make proactive updates to ensure content accuracy.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on product specifics to validate article content.
  • Review the IKB proactively and suggest necessary updates.
  • Write new articles for launched policies, procedures, or products.
  • Provide regular updates on article status to stakeholders.
  • Implement change tracking strategies to ensure approval of all changes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A seasoned technical writer passionate about breaking down complex processes into easy-to-follow steps.
  • Bachelor's degree in content writing or equivalent experience.
  • Experience creating engaging online articles, guides, and user support content independently.
  • Proficiency with writing and graphics tools, including online platforms.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and create innovative solutions.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new skills and knowledge.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
