Job Title

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled professional to fill the role of Consulting Manager. As a Consulting Manager, you will be responsible for providing guidance and support to our team members to ensure engagement success and people management.

  • Collaborate with operations teams to identify and assign project resources to client engagements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage own projects where required.

This role requires someone who is able to oversee small concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years demonstrated client relationship skills and experience setting and managing client expectations. They will also have strong verbal and writing skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively up to executive levels.

We are looking for someone who is able to work collaboratively with our leadership team and has a deep understanding of internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee small concurrent client projects while maintaining oversight to identify risk, escalations and issue resolution.
  • Manage and resolve escalations between the project, client or other internal organizations in a satisfactory manner.
  • Mentor staff in agile methodologies and best practices in project management to enhance project delivery.
  • Provide teams with clear understanding of responsibilities, accountabilities and growth plan by communicating and managing work assignments, training, and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure that bench time for consultants is used to improve skills in line with practice technology roadmaps.
Requirements
  • 5+ years demonstrated client relationship skills and experience setting and managing client expectations.
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively up to executive levels.
  • Extensive experience aligning diverse teams across multiple locations to deliver projects in alignment with project commitments.
  • Has a strong sense of working collaboratively with the leadership team.
  • Deep, professional knowledge in internal stakeholder management, people management, and software project delivery.
