About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled financial services professional to support our planning team.

The ideal candidate will have experience preparing Statements of Advice (SOAs) and Records of Advice (ROAs), conducting product comparisons, and performing strategy modelling in areas such as superannuation, insurance, and pensions.

The role primarily involves supporting senior planners by providing research, analysis, and documentation to ensure seamless client service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Comprehensive Financial Plans: Develop SOAs and ROAs in line with compliance requirements.
  • Conduct Product Comparisons: Compare products and strategies for superannuation, insurance, and pension investments.
  • Assist with SMSF Setup: Help set up and structure Self-Managed Super Funds for property investment.
  • Utilize Financial Planning Software: Leverage tools like Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic for research and documentation.
  • Collaborate with Senior Planners: Work closely with senior planners to implement tailored financial strategies for clients.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all financial plans and recommendations comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain Client Records: Keep accurate client records and liaise with advisers to refine financial strategies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a paraplanning or financial services role.
  • Financial Planning Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial planning principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with financial planning tools like Xplan, Midwinter, and AdviserLogic (experience with Intelliflow is an advantage).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to model financial strategies effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

This is a remote role that requires strong organizational and time management skills.

Successful candidates will be expected to collaborate with the team during core business hours.

  • Availability: Be available for meetings and collaboration during core AEST or PHT business hours.
  • Disclosure: Disclose any existing ongoing roles or client work. We do not allow our contractors to have multiple clients at the same time.
