Product Lifecycle Management Specialist

The Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) specialist is responsible for serving as the system Super User, owning specification and Bill of Materials (BOM) creation for live and legacy products across various channels.

This role requires a high level of precision, organization, data accuracy, version control discipline, and faster development timelines.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PLM platforms, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Daily Responsibilities:
  • Create and maintain parent-level specifications, purchasing Stock Keeping Units (SKUs), BOMs, and key attributes in the PLM system (materials, surfaces, packaging, cost inputs).
  • Track revisions with full versioning logic across New Product Development (NPD), compliance upgrades, and sustaining changes.
Data Quality & Calendar Management:
  • Uphold global data standards and field-level validation rules; audit for missing, stale, or duplicated entries.
  • Support seasonal update cycles, specification finalization, and sample-triggered lock dates.
Cross-Functional Support:
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Merchandise Planning, Compliance, Quality, Sourcing, and 3rd Party Logistics teams to ensure all product records meet commercialization and certification requirements.
  • Join milestone and handoff meetings to capture change requests and align dependencies.
System Admin & Training:
  • Act as the Asia-based Super User: handle tickets, train new users, document workflows, and test enhancements.
  • Partner with the U.S. team on roadmap feedback, field structure upgrades, and audit history improvements.
