Expert Consultant for Workday Deployment

As a seasoned professional, you will oversee the successful deployment of Workday solutions by designing and configuring configurations to meet specific client needs.

Foster growth among colleagues by sharing expertise and knowledge.

Support proposal preparations, deliver demonstrations to clients, and participate in conferences to advance your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize expertise in Workday Payroll product suite with emphasis on Absence & Time Tracking to provide exceptional services to clients.
  • Lead teams or mentor others in gathering and documenting client requirements, designing and configuring solutions, demonstrating configurations through prototype systems, testing solutions, and completing knowledge transfer to clients.
  • Collaborate with data conversion teams to assist in converting legacy data into Workday.
  • Work with integration consulting teams to configure and test integrations between Workday and third-party or custom solutions.
  • Mentor new consultants and serve as a role model while coaching others on product knowledge.
  • Communicate effectively and collaborate synergistically on team-based projects.
  • Provide support to team members addressing complex tasks and requirements when needed.
  • Facilitate clients' adoption of Workday best practices.
  • Ensure ongoing client satisfaction, making Intecrowd a referenceable and referable company once in production.
  • Deliver regular status reports to project managers, keeping them informed of overall project progress.
  • Innovate and propose new approaches and tools to efficiently deploy Workday.
  • Maintain certifications and qualifications within the Workday environment.
  • Ensure functional solutions are compatible with downstream data translation and assist integrators in configuring/testing integrations between Workday and external systems.
  • Demonstrate computational thinking to identify problem components, analyze patterns, remove inefficient processes, and construct scalable algorithmic solutions.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous education amongst colleagues, mentees, and managers.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Workday Time Tracking Certification
  • 4+ years experience in configuring and implementing a combination of Payroll/Absence/Time Tracking (PATT) Solutions
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Previous consulting experience with a software company
  • Experience deploying Workday, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, ADP, Ultimate, or similar applications
  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Functional experience in one or more areas: Payroll, Absence and/or Time Tracking
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
  • Ability to manage against timelines and goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Business analysis and requirements gathering abilities
  • Ability to learn technology quickly through instruction and self-training
  • Experience deploying multiple HCM/Payroll projects simultaneously a plus
