Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled NetSuite Developer to join our Enterprise Applications team. In this role, you will work closely with business partners, technology architects, and system analysts to help implement the enterprise applications product roadmap.

You will apply your technical and functional knowledge to analyze system issues, perform bug triage, coordinate with multiple cross-functional teams, and find solutions.

As an application engineer, you will be responsible for documenting detailed processes, performing systems configuration, scripting, bug fixes, testing, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing support.

  • Works closely with business partners, internal or external, to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
  • Develops and maintains documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
  • Partners with business, internal, and external technology teams to define associated system requirements and solutions.
  • Participates in systems implementation projects (requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification and resolution).
Business Solutions Design, Delivery & Support

Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems.

  • Proactively gathers information, investigates gaps/issues, identifies potential solutions, and presents to both Business and IT stakeholders.
  • Facilitates review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
  • Works with various teams to investigate Finance production support issues and ensures timely resolution.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go live.
Qualifications & Skills

We seek a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or a related field and 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteAnalytics, as well as experience in building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).

They should also have a proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly and document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.

A strong analytical and data modeling background is essential, along with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas including but not limited to ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
  • Strong experience with Javascript or any other programming language.
  • Must be customer-centric and have interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
  • Must be a self-starter, deal with ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
