About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Spacecraft Controller to join our 24x7 Fleet Operations Centre team. As part of a shift team, you will be responsible for day-to-day control and monitoring of our ABS fleet of satellites.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health status of our fleet of satellites.
  • Perform routine satellite operations activities, including tracking, ranging, telemetry monitoring, and executing command procedures.
  • Implement satellite position/configuration changes to ensure optimal performance.
  • Analyze downlink telemetry to identify anomalies.
  • Detect and respond to satellite anomalies, taking necessary actions to restore normal configuration/operation.
  • Execute call-out procedures during anomalies and contingency operations.
  • Safeguard the satellite in case of an anomaly during contingency operations.
  • Support database and ground system software updates.
  • Identify hardware/software problems in the Satellite Control Facility system.
  • Prepare routine satellite operations reports.
