We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at a leading organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in programming and experience with cloud migrations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Manage JIRA project configurations, including schemes, permissions, notifications, custom fields, and issue types.
  • Confluence Support: Provide support for Confluence, offering best practices and guidance where necessary.
  • Automation: Implement high-impact automations across departments, leading to measurable improvements in turnaround time and process reliability.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders to scope, build, and refine automated workflows.
  • User Engagement: Gather and refine workflow requirements through direct user engagement.
  • Maintenance: Post-migration support and administration of JIRA and Confluence SaaS platforms.
  • Integration: Integrate user onboarding with Okta and Active Directory, significantly improving provisioning and access management.
  • Migration: Plan, execute, and support complex AWS cloud migrations with workload assessments, strategy design, and post-migration optimization.
  • Security: Leverage AWS-native tools and best practices to ensure secure, seamless, and cost-efficient migrations with minimal business disruption.

Required Skills:

  • Jira Expertise: Strong Jira experience covering migration, design, and administration of all aspects of the service.
  • Confluence Expertise: Strong Confluence experience covering migration, design, and administration of all aspects of the service.
  • Programming: Proficiency in programming, with a demonstrated history of developing and maintaining custom solutions.
  • Collaboration: Good collaboration & communication skills.
  • AWS Experience: Hands-on experience with AWS including migrations, cloud automation, security best practices, and architectural design.

Desired Skills:

  • Power Automate: Experience in the Microsoft Power family of tools, particularly Power Automate.
  • Security and Compliance: Familiarity in security and compliance within cloud environments.
  • Problem-Solving: Good problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based environments.
  • Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions such as CloudWatch, AppDynamics, Prometheus, or ELK Stack.
