PPC Optimization Specialist Job Description

This role involves managing and optimizing pay-per-click campaigns across various platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to develop effective strategies for driving traffic, increasing conversions, and maximizing return on investment.

  1. Audit existing campaigns to identify areas for improvement and enhancement.
  2. Create, manage, and optimize PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and social media channels.
  3. Conduct audience and keyword research, configure conversion tracking, and enhance landing page performance.
  4. Analyze campaign data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  5. Conduct deep-dive analysis on conversions to understand conversion factors and obstacles.
  6. Review existing research, conduct new interviews, and analyze comments on platforms like Facebook and Reddit to gain deep insights into the target audience.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders to align PPC campaigns with overall marketing objectives and goals.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in PPC advertising.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • An analytical mindset and ability to interpret campaign data to drive results.
  • Prior experience as a PPC specialist or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of PPC platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, etc.).
  • Proficiency in managing and optimizing PPC campaigns.
  • Ability to conduct keyword research and optimize ad copy.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Google Ads certification is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
  • Lead Generation Conversion Optimization experience.
  • E-commerce conversion optimization experience.
  • Experience in setting up and testing campaigns from scratch.
  • Knowledge of default settings at various paid campaign sources, including recommendations from platform representatives, and understanding which settings should be left on or turned off, with reasons.
