Senior Technical Process Specialist

This role involves managing technical aspects of business processes to drive efficiency and growth. We are seeking a Senior Technical Process Specialist to collaborate with our Finance department and Enterprise Applications team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in administering and implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday. Strong understanding of core financial processes is required, as well as significant financial technical consulting experience. Excellent time management and organizational skills, strong problem-solving mindset, and ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Finance and Payroll/Payment teams to identify and implement process improvements, focusing on leveraging technology for increased efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and technology strategies.
  • Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.
  • Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.
  • Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and thorough understanding of the work being undertaken.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, including systemic changes to prevent recurrence.
  • Actively participate in agile management processes, stay up-to-date with the latest trends in financial technology, and recommend changes to leadership.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.
  • Significant financial technical consulting experience is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of core financial processes.
  • Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.
  • Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.
  • Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with out-of-the-box thinking to leverage flexible systems and processes.
  • Strong sense of personal accountability and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.
  • High emotional intelligence and sense of humor.
