Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our Finance team.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, with experience in financial record-keeping, budgeting, and financial analysis.

  • Perform multiple accounting and administrative support functions
  • Maintain accurate financial records by making standard calculations to accurately compile and report statistics
  • Collect, comply, and verify financial information to provide management with accurate and timely information
  • Check balance statements and other information provided by financial institutions
  • Verify and process financial transactions
  • Classify, code, and record financial transactions
  • Demonstrate the ability to prepare journal entries that are adequately supported and documented

Key Requirements:

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or related courses
Experience
  • Previous experience providing knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 4 years)
Skills and Abilities
  • Solid understanding of mathematical functions
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Confidence to handle sensitive information and data effectively
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while delivering high-quality results and special attention to detail
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization and outside vendors
Work Environment and Physical Requirements
  • Ability to access and use various computer software developed in-house and off-the-shelf
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences
  • May interact with diverse groups, relating and gathering sensitive information
  • Works with guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions from management. May require periods of driven concentration
  • Performs a wide range of variable tasks as decided by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task
