About the Job
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled IT Service Desk Consultant to join our team. As an IT Service Desk Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and escalating complex problems to senior technicians.
You will work closely with our IT Support Manager to ensure that all IT systems and services are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes maintaining accurate records of incidents, requests, and changes made to IT systems.
- Create a positive customer support experience by understanding user needs, resolving issues promptly, and communicating effectively.
- Analyze and resolve incidents and requests related to application, software, or hardware usage.
- Workplace support: Provide technical assistance with PC support, client and server software, printers, mobile phones, and collaboration systems.
- Office support: Resolve requests on first contact, perform service requests as requested by end-users, following established policies and procedures.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Degree in Computer Science studies, Information Technology, or relevant field.
- Proven professional experience and knowledge of industry's best practice processes (ITIL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Competency in MS Office Suite and other office productivity tools.
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems to track and manage support requests.
