Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud environments to support our applications and services. Your expertise in cloud computing and IT infrastructure will enable you to drive cloud strategy and ensure efficient and secure operation of cloud-based systems.

This role requires a skilled professional with extensive experience in cloud architectures, particularly AWS. You will be proficient in administering AWS services such as ECS, CloudFront, CloudFormation/Terraform, CloudWatch, IAM, and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage complex cloud environments to meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain automated pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Manage and support Docker and Kubernetes to enhance scalability and flexibility.
  • Implement Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions and use cloud analytics tools to monitor system performance.
  • Automate tasks using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform to streamline deployment of containers and EC2 instances.
  • Support developers with release issues, build automated release frameworks, and integrate test automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Apply AWS security best practices to protect infrastructure.
  • Provide strong troubleshooting, server resource management, and database knowledge (SQL and NoSQL); experience with Linux and Windows servers.
  • Script and automate using AWS Lambda, CloudWatch, and SNS for event-driven patterns.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines.
  • Expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, and container management tools.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Proficiency with observability tools and APM solutions.
  • Experience with IaC and automation tools.
  • IT operations skills including troubleshooting, server management, database management, and network troubleshooting.
  • System administration skills: Apache/Nginx configuration, OS updates, and patching.
  • Strong scripting skills.
  • Ability to write clear documentation.
