Accountant Role Summary

Join a team of professionals in the field of accounting and finance, where you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including GAAP and tax laws.
  • Supervise a team of accountants to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–7 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Supervisory experience (e.g., leading a team, overseeing accounting operations).
  • Experience with general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close, audit support, and financial reporting.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Dear, XERO).
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • CPA is a plus.
