Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:- Process and review vendor invoices for accuracy and approvals.
- Ensure timely payment of invoices and resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist in month-end closing and financial reporting processes.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders to address inquiries and issues.
- Support the implementation and maintenance of accounts payable systems and processes.
- Perform data entry and maintain organized filing systems.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation as required.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline accounts payable processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
