Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled General Ledger Manager to oversee the general ledger function, ensure accurate financial reporting, and manage month-end close processes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of General Ledger accountants in day-to-day activities, including journal entry reviews, accruals, and adjustments.
  • Manage and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  • Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, and review financial statements to ensure proper reporting in line with IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and external audit requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification strongly preferred.
  • At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in General Ledger or Record-to-Report (R2R), with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP) and financial controls.
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Shared services or BPO experience.
  • Experience with audit, consolidation, or statutory reporting.
  • Exposure to automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, Power BI, RPA) is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of regional accounting and tax regulations (e.g., APAC, EMEA).
