Enterprise Applications Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Enterprise Applications Specialist to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with business partners and technology architects to implement the enterprise applications product roadmap.
You'll be responsible for analyzing system issues, performing bug triage, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and finding solutions. You'll also document detailed processes, perform systems configuration, scripting, bug fixes, testing, implementation, continuous improvement, and ongoing support.
To succeed in this position, you'll need strong analytical and data modeling skills, as well as experience working with ERP systems, particularly NetSuite. A bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or a related field is required, along with 5+ years of experience in a technical or techno-functional role.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business partners to understand processes, gaps, and goals.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to developing and modifying business processes and systems.
- Partner with internal and external technology teams to define system requirements and solutions.
- Participate in systems implementation projects, including requirements documentation, systems configuration, test documentation/execution, issue identification, and resolution.
- Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows, scripts, and integrations within NetSuite and connected systems.
- Proactively investigate gaps/issues, identify potential solutions, and present them to stakeholders.
- Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts, and end-user representatives.
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve finance production support issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation, and go-live.
- Participate in scheduled system upgrades, including test plan development, testing, reviewing, and evaluating new functionality.
- Support delivery of reporting, dashboards, and business intelligence capabilities through partnership with IT and Business.
- Lead and perform data management and migration activities.
- Ensure training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines.
- Engage in other areas of Finance, such as Security, Compliance (SOX), Reporting, Production, and participate in change management support to ensure projects are addressed from end to end.
- Bachelor's degree in Information & Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with NetSuite ERP in a technical or techno-functional role.
- Good functional and configuration-level understanding of one or more areas, including ERP System Administration, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Invoicing, Revenue Recognition, Taxation, Customer Billing, etc.
- Experience in Javascript or any other programming language.
- Strong experience with SuiteScript, SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, SuiteAnalytics.
- Experience with building web services integrations (REST/SOAP).
- Proven ability to learn complex, distributed systems quickly and thoroughly.
- Document complex systems, processes, events, and architectures.
- Must be customer-centric and have the interpersonal skills necessary to manage business and technology relationships.
- Must be a self-starter, able to handle ambiguity, and thrive in a rapidly changing business environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties.
