Job Title:

Interior Design Manager


Description:

This is a Mid-Senior level position that involves overseeing the interior design process for a leading organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, with a strong background in interior design and architecture.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide design coordination, review and monitoring of external ID consultants' deliverables.
  • Facilitate design coordination meetings with external ID consultants, Project Development group and other departments.
  • Review documents such as inter-office memos, initial ID layouts/test-fits, notice to proceed and letter of award, necessary document attachments of consultant's progress billings, proposals/contracts.
  • Review interior design deliverables submitted by external ID consultant for accuracy and completeness.
  • Review accreditations, contracts and billings of external ID consultant.
  • Manage ID consultant's timeliness in providing design deliverables.
  • Perform other duties assigned from time to time by immediate supervisor.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • Licensed Interior Designer/Interior Architect.
  • A minimum of 4 years of work experience in Project/Design Management field; real estate developer work experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, SketchUp.
  • Strength in Design Management, plan review and coordination.
  • Highly organized with keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Emotional Intelligence, adaptability, curiosity & life-long learning, innovative, collaborative.
