Job Overview

This senior management position oversees a staff of professional-level team members, responsible for managing the adjudication process for healthcare payer claims. As a leader in this role, you will work independently to determine the approach for daily operations and provide guidance and technical advice as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of professional-level employees or manage a team through subordinate leaders who oversee healthcare Payer claims adjudication processes.
  • Determine the approach to managing daily operations within established general policies and management guidelines.
  • Provide leadership and technical expertise, taking an active role as necessary.
  • Oversee assigned departments through subordinate leaders.
  • Ensure high-quality support, technical details, and communication are provided to clients in an efficient and courteous manner.
  • Take a lead position in establishing client relationships, defining project scope, and making executive presentations.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6-10 years relevant experience is required.
  • Candidates should be flexible and willing to work non-traditional hours.
  • At least 3-5 years of managerial or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Advanced influencing and communication skills are essential.
  • Strong client service skills and leadership abilities are required.
  • Proficiency in project management principles and methodologies is necessary.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are expected.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills are required.
  • The ability to develop comprehensive and complex operational and strategic plans is essential.
