Senior Content Editor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in editing and refining manuscripts for various publications, including books, magazines, blog posts, and social media content.

  • Lead the editing process for complex content projects, ensuring clarity, coherence, and consistency.
  • Collaborate with writers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging across all content channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content editing and publishing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field (Doctorate highly desirable).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Developmental Editor, with additional hands-on experience in content editing, copy editing, and technical editing.
  • Proven ability to manage and edit a wide range of content, including books, blog posts, magazines, website content, and marketing copy.
  • Strong grasp of SEO content practices and digital publishing standards.
  • Excellent command of written English, with meticulous attention to grammar, flow, and consistency.

Schedule and Location

This is a remote job with a schedule of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (40 hours per week).
