Business Transformation Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Business Transformation Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing support on Finance & Accounting-related secondments and business transformation engagements/projects.

The role involves executing the scope of work for secondment arrangements, conducting process understandings, gap analysis, and providing solutions and recommendations for business transformation projects.

  • Provide support to clients requiring staff augmentations based on the agreed scope of work.
  • Support in developing work/engagement plans, engagement timelines, and engagement deliverables.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, bids, quotations, etc.
  • Collaborate with the engagement team during the engagement planning process, project execution, and closing activities.
  • Participate in engagement planning to understand client/project requirements, related roles and responsibilities, deliverables, and other relevant activities.
  • Perform process understanding activities through interviews and walkthroughs.
  • Document current and future state in-scope processes using various techniques (process maps, value stream mapping, flowcharts).
  • Identify areas for improvements, gaps, and trends based on applicable leading practices. Perform data analysis and analytics.
  • Draft solutions and recommendations to reduce gaps and mitigate identified risks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders or process owners to validate identified gaps and recommendations.
  • Ensure high-quality work.
  • Comply with professional standards and policies.
  • Continuously improve skills and knowledge through training, research, and reading articles/thought leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accountancy, or related field.
  • Training/certification in Risks and Controls.
  • Relevant experience in Finance and Accounting functions.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification (desired).
