Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled accounting professional to perform various accounting-related functions, including tax returns, financial record-keeping, and budgeting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare accurate and timely tax returns for clients, utilizing industry-standard templates and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information or documents required to complete returns.
  • Conduct thorough research of relevant laws and regulations prior to submitting returns for review.
  • Develop and prepare tax projections and planning tasks for clients, including determining tax liability and salary requirements.
  • Handle correspondence with government agencies, perform teleconferences, and prepare payment plan paperwork as needed.
  • Perform external bookkeeping services, including adjusting balance sheets after-tax returns are completed, handling year-end adjustments, and providing support for financial software such as QuickBooks.
  • Review and update monthly and quarterly financial records, preparing necessary reports and documents at year-end.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a finance-related field.
  • Proficient in tax and accounting software, including Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and other industry-standard tools.
  • Licensed as a certified public accountant is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
