Product Design Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Product Design Specialist to spearhead the conceptualization, design, and development of captivating and safe toys for kids' meals. This role demands a deep understanding of visual design principles, child behavior, and preferences, as well as strict adherence to toy safety standards.

You will collaborate closely with marketing, manufacturing, and product teams to craft toys that enhance the overall meal experience and delight children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design imaginative, age-appropriate toy concepts aligned with current themes, trends, and brand objectives.
  • Develop detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes using advanced design tools (e.g., CAD, SolidWorks, Adobe Illustrator).
  • Conduct user research and testing with children or parent focus groups to gather valuable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international toy safety standards (e.g., ASTM, EN71, CPSIA).
  • Collaborate with suppliers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure feasibility, cost-efficiency, and quality.
  • Work with marketing and branding teams to integrate toy designs with promotional campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with trends in toy design, pop culture, and children's entertainment.

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Toy Design, Product Design, or a related field is required. We are looking for candidates with proven experience in toy or product design, especially for children. A strong portfolio showcasing the design process and final products is essential. Proficiency in 2D and 3D design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Rhino, Fusion 360) is necessary. Understanding of child psychology, play behavior, and developmental appropriateness is also crucial.
