Leading Financial Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned accounting professional to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and managing tax filings.
As a member of our team, you will oversee the entire accounting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial statement preparation. This includes conducting monthly and annual closing processes, journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
You will administer accounts payable and receivable, ensuring efficient processing, payment of invoices, and collection of revenue. Additionally, you will prepare and file tax returns, both federal and state, and ensure compliance with all tax regulations and deadlines.
Key responsibilities include developing and monitoring internal controls and policies to ensure financial data integrity and security. You will collaborate with external auditors during annual audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial practices.
In addition, you will participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting, providing insights and analysis for strategic decision-making. You will also implement and optimize accounting software and systems to improve financial reporting and operational efficiency.
Your expertise will be invaluable in providing financial analysis and reports to management, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
