Job Description:

A Visual Designer II is responsible for defining the visual identity of our products, working closely with senior designers and other business teams. They suggest new design patterns but primarily work within pre-existing frameworks. The Visual Designer II collaborates with the global marketing team, focusing on creating visual assets for the global .com website, including product animations, graphics, marketing page designs, icons, and more.

Responsibilities include:

  • Customer Focus
  • Understand how UI design impacts the overall user experience.
  • Familiar with customer frameworks (e.g., Jobs To Be Done, personas, journey maps).
  • Stay updated on news, incidents, and market trends.
  • Creative Problem Solving
  • Ask questions to explore problems.
  • Iterate and test solutions.
  • Consider multiple angles.
  • Identify creative solutions independently.
  • Gather feedback from users, designers, and stakeholders.
  • Product Design
  • Follow a user-centered visual design process.
  • Create original visual assets.
  • Collaborate with UX researchers and designers to understand needs and define structure.
  • Use existing design patterns and style guides, introducing new patterns when appropriate.
  • Data-Driven Analysis & Testing
  • Iterate based on testing and data analysis.
  • Test designs with users in partnership with UX Research.
  • Analyze data from analytics and customer insights.
  • Use data to establish key metrics.
Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of visual design experience in corporate and marketing web design.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • Proficiency in design tools, especially Figma; intermediate Adobe Creative Cloud skills.
  • Proactive in technical skill development.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint.
  • Knowledge of sprint planning is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong self-development, problem-solving, and innovative skills.
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.
