About the Job


The Applications Support Analyst is responsible for monitoring and assessing processes to identify policy gaps. This role involves applying specialty area knowledge to research and interpret information, making recommendations and developing working knowledge of industry practices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains a good understanding of support procedures and concepts, identifying enhancements to existing applications.
  • Analyzes system logic to make recommendations for improvements and implements fixes.
  • Formulates and defines scope and objectives for changes through research and fact-finding, documenting requirements.
  • Partners with development and production support areas to validate and test activities.
  • Exchanges ideas and information in a concise and logical manner.
  • Avoids inappropriate risk when business decisions are made.

Requirements:
  • 1-5 years experience in apps support procedures and related technical areas.
  • Participation in process improvements.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
