The role of a Public Relations and Reputation Management Strategic Communicator is crucial in enhancing brand visibility, safeguarding corporate reputation, and driving stakeholder engagement. This position requires a strategic communicator who can lead media relations, support crisis response, contribute to CSR communications, and collaborate with external PR agencies.
A key aspect of this role is developing and implementing PR and reputation-building strategies that reflect brand positioning and corporate priorities. Ensuring consistent and aligned messaging across all external communications is also essential. Cultivating relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure meaningful coverage is another critical responsibility.
The Public Relations and Reputation Management Strategic Communicator will be responsible for managing PR campaigns end-to-end, including press releases, media kits, and public statements. Creating thought leadership content (e.g., op-eds, bylined articles) that positions the company and its executives as industry visionaries is also a key task. Coordinating media interviews, press events, and executive visibility opportunities is another important duty.
This role involves collaborating with third-party PR agencies to ensure strategic alignment and high-impact execution. Evaluating media partnership opportunities and providing strategic recommendations is also an essential responsibility. Aligning PR efforts with broader marketing initiatives in coordination with Marketing and Sales Teams is another key aspect of this role.
The Public Relations and Reputation Management Strategic Communicator will be responsible for ensuring consistent, brand-aligned messaging across all external communications. Leading corporate award applications to reinforce credibility and industry leadership is also an important task. Organizing and managing media events, press conferences, and promotional activities to boost the organization's visibility and strengthen relationships with stakeholders is another critical responsibility.
Crisis Communications Support
Assisting in the development of crisis communication protocols and materials is an essential responsibility. Supporting real-time response efforts during reputational threats or crises and managing media inquiries during challenging situations is also a critical task. Coordinating with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure timely and accurate communication is another key aspect of this role. Monitoring and analyzing media coverage, industry trends, and public sentiment to provide actionable insights to senior management is also an important duty.
CSR Communications Support
Leading the communication strategy for CSR programs, showcasing the organization's commitment to sustainability and community engagement, is an essential responsibility. Creating compelling narratives and campaigns around CSR initiatives, demonstrating impact and fostering community partnerships, is also a critical task. Identifying and engaging with non-profit organizations and community stakeholders to enhance visibility and support for CSR efforts is another key aspect of this role. Helping measure and report on the impact of CSR communications is also an important duty.
Reporting and Evaluation
Preparing detailed reports on media coverage, impact of communication strategies, and CSR initiatives for stakeholders and senior management is a key responsibility. Evaluating public relations efforts and providing recommendations for continuous improvement is also an essential task.
Other Tasks
Prepared and managed the annual PR budget, ensuring efficient use of resources is a critical responsibility.
JOB PROFILE
Educational Background
Bachelor's degree required - major in Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Marketing or Journalism is strongly preferred.
Professional Background
Must have at least 6-8 years of experience in real estate public relations; agency, luxury brand-oriented experience highly preferred. Strong media network in Metro Manila; global media and PR agency experience is a plus.
Knowledge Requirements
Deep understanding of PR, corporate communications, and reputation management best practices and trends.
Skills Requirements
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in PR tools and social media platforms. Proven track record in managing public relations on cross-functional teams developing strategies and tactics for integrated marketing plans. Proven track record in crisis communication and reputation management. Basic proficiency in design and editing tools such as Canva and Adobe Photoshop for visual content creation and enhancement.
