About the Role:

The Data Management Specialist will serve as a key contributor to ensuring the seamless onboarding and management of data, contributing to overall data integrity and operational efficiency.

The Team:

The team manages the onboarding and setup of datasets into our platform. They review all new data launch requests and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure new datasets are set up properly to meet user needs.

The Impact:

This role has a significant impact on data accuracy and integrity by diligently understanding new datasets and requirements. The team plays a crucial role in enabling access to data needed across various teams and driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing requests to onboard new data sets into our platform, ensuring necessary information is available.
  • Setting up data dictionaries and ensuring data is loaded properly and completely.
  • Coordinating with various teams including Data Excellence, IMPG, IT, and R&D.
  • Collaborating with team members to establish best practices and participate in cross-functional meetings.

Essential Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or relevant field
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Proficiency in working with spreadsheets and large amounts of data
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Database management experience
  • Proficiency in Python and VBA
  • Snowflake
  • Proven experience in data validation, data quality assurance, or similar roles
