Senior Email Deliverability Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Email Deliverability Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our deliverability team, you will be responsible for researching and solving complex email delivery challenges.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of email deliverability best practices, as well as experience with email service providers (ESPs), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and marketing automation platforms.

You will work closely with our Heroes to identify and resolve email deliverability issues, including investigating blocklists, spam traps, and ISP problems. Your expertise in email warmup scheduling and progress monitoring will also help improve our sending reputation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Research and solve delivery and deliverability challenges for Heroes.
  • Investigate and assist Heroes with blocklists, spam traps, and issues with ISPs.
  • Help Heroes produce schedules for email warmup and monitor their progress.
  • Monitor Hero email metrics and help improve their sending reputations.
Requirements:
  • 1+ years experience in a customer-facing team
  • Likes the hands-on aspect of researching and diagnosing deliverability issues by querying datasets, examining 3rd party insights, and running experiments
  • Familiarity with 3rd party email deliverability tools (Mailgun, MXToolbox, etc.)
  • A basic understanding of authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • An understanding of global privacy and anti-spam laws (GDPR, CASL, CAN-SPAM, etc.)
  • Strong empathy for Heroes and passion for revenue and growth
