We're seeking a Tax Consultant to lead and guide our clients in the Northeast Region. This role involves preparing and reviewing financial information for clients, such as business tax returns, with exposure to various industries.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
  • Create book-to-tax workbooks.
  • Maintain adherence to firm policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience with tax returns for partnerships (1065), corporations (1120), and individuals (1040).
  • Participate in tax research and resolve complex tax issues.
  • Maintain adherence to firm policies and procedures.
  • 4 years of experience.
  • Background in public accounting or professional services is preferred.
  • CCH Axcess or GoSystem experience is preferred.
  • Must be willing to work on a night shift schedule.
Education
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree or equivalent technology experience.
  • Bachelor's in Accounting (for Audit or Tax).
License / Certification
  • Must obtain relevant certification as soon as possible if not already attained to advance professionally.
Legal / Compliance
  • Must complete acknowledgement of Independence Guidelines and Ethical Standards document.
  • Governmental engagements require ability to obtain security clearance from United States government.
