Job Title: Wireless Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional technical support and expertly troubleshoot issues related to wireless networks for clients.
  • Maintain the stable and optimal performance of wireless networks, guaranteeing seamless connectivity and peak efficiency.
  • Configure and manage wireless access points, controllers, and other network equipment with precision.
  • Analyze and resolve complex network connectivity and performance issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with network engineers and other stakeholders to successfully integrate wireless networks with existing infrastructure.
  • Stay abreast of the latest cutting-edge wireless technologies and innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incidents.
  • Provide comprehensive training and expert technical guidance to clients and team members alike.
  • Conduct regular thorough performance monitoring and reporting of wireless networks, driving continuous improvement and enhancement.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Wireless Support Engineer or similar role, with a strong foundation in wireless technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of wireless protocols, standards, and best practices is essential.
  • Hands-on experience in configuring and managing wireless access points, controllers, and associated equipment is required.
  • Prior experience working with Guestek or similar technology is highly desirable.
  • A solid understanding of network security principles and best practices is crucial.
  • Proficiency in conducting site surveys and performing in-depth network troubleshooting for wireless networks is necessary.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for success.
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate seamlessly with stakeholders is vital.
  • Relevant certifications such as CWNP, CCNA Wireless, or similar are preferred but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Computer Science or Network Engineering is highly recommended.
