About the Role

As a Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing and lodging accurate tax returns for clients. Your expertise in Australian taxation will enable you to hit the ground running in a fast-paced client-facing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of company and trust tax returns, including calculations and compliance with Division 7A loans
  • Mentoring and collaborating with our offshore bookkeeping team to ensure seamless communication and support
  • Providing guidance on business activity statements (BAS) preparation and bookkeeping processes to ensure consistency and quality across our operations

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation, with a strong understanding of tax legislation and compliance
  • Proficiency in Xero and XPM, with a background in FYIDocs advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and guide junior or offshore staff
  • A self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Motivated to grow with the business and open to taking on more responsibility
