Job Opportunity:

We are seeking an accomplished Healthcare Coding Specialist to join our team in a remote work setting.

This position requires the candidate to have at least one year of experience in same day surgery and/or observation medical record coding, along with a relevant credential from AHIMA or AAPC.

  • Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes according to coding rules and regulations.
  • Abstract relevant clinical data elements into the patient chart.

A successful Coding Professional will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coding: Accurately assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on provided documentation.
  • Data Analysis: Identify and abstract relevant clinical data elements for inclusion in the patient chart.

  • Credentials: Current certification from AHIMA or AAPC in the field of medical record coding.
  • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in same day surgery and/or observation medical record coding.
